Recently, there was a post re-shared on social media from November 2020 with an announcement regarding BLHF’s Free Therapy Campaign for Black Men (well intentioned). That campaign ended in 2020. We have added those who registered to our waitlist which will open this Fall! Please follow us on social @blhensonfoundation and/or check back here for updates.

Our programs serve African American individuals and families experiencing life-changing events and everyday struggles, including but not limited to stress and anxiety regarding race relations and injustice towards people of color. These programs are free for registered participants and offers up to five (5) FREE mental health therapy sessions by licensed, culturally competent clinicians in our network. Enrollment is available on a first-come, first-serve basis until funds are exhausted.

This year the Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation has partnered with several organizations to support mental wellness in our community. Please select the appropriate program and referring partner during your application.

We encourage you to visit the Let’s Talk! Resource Guide, search for a provider in your area and directly connect if you are interested in services outside of our programs.
